Why did you decide to enter in the recruitment industry?

After spending years in sales and account management, I craved more meaningful work that would positively impact society. It was only after discussing my concerns with a friend who was an expert in recruitment that I saw the potential of using my skills to help exceptional candidates secure positions in organisations that prioritise community health. I wanted to make a difference by connecting talented individuals with companies that shared my values.

What was it about healthcare that appealed to you?

I find the healthcare industry incredibly fulfilling because it has a noble objective of improving the well-being of the wider community. Achieving this goal requires a team of exceptional individuals working together towards a shared purpose. By connecting talented and motivated candidates with companies driving positive change in the healthcare space, I feel like I'm making a triple win: helping candidates achieve fulfilling roles, assisting organisations to meet their objectives, and ultimately contributing to improving society.

What education background do you have that helps you with your current job?

My degree in Health Sciences, with a focus on Nutrition, gives me a strong foundation in chemistry and biology. I have a deep interest in the advancements and innovations that our clients in the healthcare industry are pioneering. Furthermore, my background allows me to empathise with candidates who share similar qualifications and experiences and understand how they fit into different career paths. My in-depth knowledge of our clients' products and services makes it easier for me to match exceptional candidates with organisations that align with their career aspirations.
