About the company

An established consumer healthcare company with a wide range of products including OTC medicines, consumer healthcare products, medical devices, complementary medicines.

About the opportunity

This role will manage consumer enquiries, consumer complaints and adverse events, and medical information. You will be responsible for overseeing the investigation of complaints, reporting of complaints, and responding to customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Your contribution will help to maintain regulatory compliance of the product portfolios and overall product quality, safety, and efficacy.

Office-based role Mon-Fri in Sydney's Eastern suburbs

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-centric mindset, enjoy working with people, and a background in Quality, regulatory or a technical field.

Duties

  • Liaise directly with customers to support and manage customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints by identify problem and coordinating appropriate actions
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to identify root cause and ensure appropriate CAPA's are put in place
  • Liaise with cross-functional departments to resolve complaints
  • Manage daily administration and effectively update and maintain records
  • Ensure all product enquiries are recorded, tracked and reported accurately and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly metrics and trend analysis
  • Prepare annual reports for TGA post-market surveillance reporting

Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualified in Pharmacy, Medical Science or relevant discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical, quality, or regulatory role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Understanding of GMP or manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Strong customer-focused experience
  • High level attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
