About the opportunity

Recruiting for an experienced and motivated Senior Product Manager, who will focus on an infectious disease and respiratory product portfolio. This role is a 12-month contract initially and the individual can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic brand plan to drive the implementation of tactics that differentiate this company as a market leader and deliver a superior customer experience
  • Leverage primary and secondary market research, analytics and customer insights to direct brand strategies and optimise marketing tactics
  • Execute a multichannel communications plan to ensure optimal channel selection, share of voice and maximised customer understanding of our clinical positioning
  • Take a lead role within the cross-functional brand team and acts as a Brand Champion within our local and global organisation

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science/marketing or related fields required
  • 5+ years' experience in the Australian pharmaceutical industry in a commercial role
  • Infectious diseases +/or Respiratory therapeutic area knowledge preferred
  • Must have the ability to conduct analysis and understand data and trends
  • Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute to a strategic plan.
  • Ability to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising and medical education vendors to develop programs and materials is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets is required
