About the opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day transactions within the logistics functions including importing, exporting and distribution as well as developing and improving processes across logistics.

Duties

• Identify, develop and implement best practises across logistics and inline with global standards.
• Day to day management of international and domestic logistics as well as daily operational transactions.
• 3PL relationship management, including setting and monitoring SLA's.
• Daily reporting and resolving issues.
• Running daily, weekly and monthly meetings to ensure efficiency and communication is maintained across logistics.
• Analysis and data management.
• Project management.
• Negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Stakeholder management and working cross-functionally within the business, regional and global teams.
• Partake in training other team members.

Skills and Experience

• Experience managing logistics and distribution within the healthcare industry is essential.
• Experience working cross-functionally within supply chain is highly favourable.
• Ability to identify gaps and implement improvements is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally is required.
• Excellent communication with the ability to build strong business relationships is a must.
• Experience working with and managing relationships with 3PL's and Freight Forwarders is essential.
• Analytical with the ability to solve problems.
• Hands on and happy to manage day to day transactions within logistics.
