About the opportunity

In this role you will report into the Finance Director and play a key role by partnering & building strong relationships with key business stakeholders across the business. You will drive & lead the overall financial planning and forecasting processes and you will be responsible for local business development projects as opportunities arise. Lead and coach a team on stock management based on Sales trend/needs and support communications with manufacturing site as well as local stakeholders.

Duties

• Manage & coach a team of 5 across Finance & Supply Chain
• Work closely with the CFO & lead budgeting & forecasting process incl strategic business planning for ANZ
• Monitor monthly regional financial results & support finance related projects
• Partner with leadership teams to develop long-range strategic business plans, customer plans and market forecasts
• Manage relationships with directors and provide timely and accurate support
• Lead supply chain reporting and presentation to the General Managers & Inventory management coordinating with overseas and domestic stakeholders
• Work closely with customs & logistics processes
• Support month-end closing activities
• Work on and implement accounting/finance related projects
• Annual stock counts
• Support local business development projects as opportunities arise

Skills and Experience

• Recognised qualification in Finance and Accounting or similar
• CPA/CA qualified
• Financial Planning, Analysis & Supply Chain experience
• Pharmaceutical or related experience preferred
• Leadership skills and ability to drive the team focusing on business results
• Drive change and add value to the business
• Strong business acumen of financial analytics, financial controls & problem-solving abilities
• Strong stakeholder management skills - work with cross-functional teams
• Influencing & negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
