About the opportunity

Opportunity for an energetic, committed, proactive residential manager who is resident and staff focused. Responsible for the day to day operational management of the site incl people management, training, ensuring high quality customer service and quality processes & standards are maintained.

Duties

  • Daily overall management of the facility
  • Build strong relationships, lead & mentor staff members
  • Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
  • Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
  • Support of ACFI process & maximising ACFI
  • Assist with expansion planning and commissioning of new facilities
  • Change Management
  • Excellent communicator across the organisation
  • Promote the facility to deliver an exceptional level of care

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years (recent) work experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, Health management or a related subject
  • Excellent communication, relationship building & people management skills
  • Sound clinical skills, ACFI & Accreditation, relevant legislation & accreditation experience and knowledge
  • Proven experience with evaluating clinical documentation and work practices so compliance is achieved
  • Proactive, forward thinking, positive, can do attitude!
  • Experience with finance management, HR & staff leadership
  • Hold a current drivers license & police check
