About the opportunity

Be part of the specialised registered nurses and midwives pool at the Healthcare Professionals Group. As part of our team you will be assisting us with contract and casual shift work, in the Regional NSW public hospitals. You will gain experience, arrange your own work life balance and get a chance to work in different hospitals in your desired area.

We have a variety of Registered Nurse, Endorsed Enrolled Nurse's & Assistant In Nurses needed for contract roles available in metro Newcastle location. These include specialised areas: Emergency department, ICU, General, Surgical wards.

Duties

• Develop appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Provide care to individuals with acute and chronic needs
• Manage pain and administrate medications
• Utilise clinical experience to assess and manage patients' needs
• Ensure documentation is precise and accurate
• Escalate concerns appropriately

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum one year post graduate experience in a public hospital
• Strong clinical skills across acute settings
• Strong communication skills
• Current National Police Check and WWCC
• Two references within the last 12 months
• Available for temp roles or causal shifts
