About the opportunity
This is a leadership role within Global Quality, responsible for leading and executing a unified quality and compliance strategy across the International East region. You will act as the central quality leader, partnering closely with senior executives to drive consistency, improve speed of execution and elevate quality standards across multiple markets.
You will play a key role in embedding a standardised quality management framework, leading regional oversight, managing escalations and ensuring alignment between regulatory requirements and business priorities. This role also focuses heavily on influencing culture, driving continuous improvement and strengthening supplier and distributor quality performance across the region
 
Duties
• Lead and implement regional quality and compliance strategy
• Act as the senior quality partner to regional leadership and executive stakeholders
• Drive consistency across markets by replacing fragmented local approaches
• Oversee quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO13485 
• Lead regional CAPAs and escalation processes to address systemic issues
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams
• Oversee supplier, distributor and contract manufacturer quality performance
• Drive continuous improvement and cultural transformation initiatives
• Build, lead and develop a high performing regional quality team
• Represent the region to global quality, regulators and external stakeholders
 
Skills and Experience
• Degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Extensive experience in Quality within medical device, pharma or related industries
• Strong knowledge of ISO13485
• Proven leadership experience managing large, cross-regional teams
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
• Experience working across multiple geographies and regulatory environments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment
