About the company

Working in healthcare you play a part in improving people lives. Working as part of a large global organisation, you have the ability to make a difference. You will work as part of a small Procurement team where you will have responsibility for managing the indirect categories within ANZ.

About the opportunity

You will report locally to the Head of Procurement and you will take ownership for the Indirect Categories including: Marketing, Training and Clinical Trials. As you will be taking full ownership, you must be a hands on specialist who is capable of dealing with multiple stakeholders and who can take ownership for your categories. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Duties

• Manage the Indirect Categories for ANZ
• Implement category strategy
• Manage risk exposure
• Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers
• Maintain existing supplier relationships
• Manage local business partners and collaborate
• Share relevant information across the business
• Leverage market opportunities

Skills and Experience

• Solid experience managing indirect categories - ideally within healthcare
• Experience managing marketing agencies would be advantageous
• Ability to manage a variety of internal stakeholders and also external customers
• SAP Ariba experience would be desirable
• Strong problem solver and ability to influence
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to commit to a 12 month contract
