About the company:

A privately owned group of General Practice clinics is seeking a seasoned Practice Manager to lead operations in their newest ACT clinic. Operating in a busy clinic in south western Canberra, you will enjoy a close connection with the community and the current Doctors. This role will offer you the opportunity to implement standard operating procedures and policies to encourage efficiency.

About the position:

This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced Practice Manager with a strategic business focus. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be at the head of business management including HR, IT, finance and training functions. This role is calling a candidate with a high level of business acumen and someone who is seeking an opportunity to extend their Operations and Project Manager skills. Your key objective will be the efficient delivery of daily operations and team leadership.

Duties:

• Operating payroll for all staff members
• Reconciling patient accounts and financial records
• Overseeing rosters and staff attendance
• Managing the reception and nursing teams directly
• Leading on HR functions- recruitment, training and exit interviews
• Offering strategic marketing support to the Principal doctors

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ Years in Practice Management with proven tenure
• Ability to utilise Best Practice desirable
• Business Management qualification is highly desirable
• Experience managing HR and finance functions of a Medical Practice
• An organised and resilient persona
