About the opportunity
The Patient Safety officer will support the Patient Safety Team in performing activities in line with local regulatory and relevant legal requirements.
Duties
- Managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls from Health Care Professionals in a timely manner
- Respond to incoming calls from customers to answer questions and inquiries
- Provision of safety information
- Submission of single cases to local Health Agencies(HA) and Ethics Committees (as required)
- Implementation of PV Audit and Inspection Readiness
- Maintenance of PV Awareness and Training
- Implementation of Pharmacovigilance Agreements
- Local Market Safety Data Quality
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Health Sciences or related discipline
- Ideally have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Experience with the management of safety information in a clinical setting would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of medical terminologies
- Basic Microsoft Office and administrative skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines
- Possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to find solutions (technical and non-technical) in a complex environment
