Duties

• Lead the medical affairs function across vaccines and biosecurity portfolio
• Scientific lead for high profile product portfolio including breakthrough therapies
• Manage and enhance key external stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders, Government and Advocacy groups
• Act as a thought leader to internal stakeholders, by providing expert scientific advice
• Set the strategic medical strategy for the existing and future pipeline of products
• Act as spokesperson for media and other key engagements
• Develop and lead a talented team of medical affairs professionals, including driving engagement and promoting the organisation's culture

Skills and Experience

• Established experience as a Medical Director or Associate Medical Director within the innovative pharmaceutical or vaccines sector
• Medically qualified (MBBS, MBChB, MD etc) an advantage, together with public health qualifications or experience
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
• Innovative and advance people leadership skills and experience
• Experience leading a prominent product portfolio
