About the opportunity
 
Join the team as a Medical Advisor for Melanoma. In this role you will:
 

• have line management duties for two direct reports
• be responsible for developing and implementing the medical strategy for Melanoma
• provide medical and strategic support to internal stakeholders, looking at clinical trial feasibilities, and providing advice on regulatory and patient access submissions
• you will build relationships with KOLs, engaging in balanced scientific discussions and share these insights the organisation

 
 
Skills and Experience
 

• Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD., MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry within Australia – in a medical advisor or medical manager capacity
• Expertise in developing medical strategies
• Expertise within Oncology
• Strong ability to clearly communicate your scientific understanding to a large audience varying from physicians to patients to internal colleagues
• Excellent knowledge of Australian pharmaceutical industry guidelines, regulatory and reimbursement frameworks, and clinical research guidelines
