About the opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role, leading a highly dynamic and complex business unit. You’ll oversee a constantly evolving portfolio where supply, demand and access shift regularly, requiring a balance of commercial thinking, operational oversight and strong judgement. You’ll partner closely with Commercial, Regulatory, Medical and Business Development to drive growth, shape strategy and lead a team delivering critical solutions in a fast-moving environment.
 
Duties
• Lead and develop a large, geographically dispersed team across multiple locations
• Set and execute the strategy for the Unlicensed Medicines division
• Drive commercial performance, including budget ownership and revenue growth targets
• Oversee sourcing, supply solutions, and operational delivery across a complex portfolio
• Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Regulatory, Medical and BD teams
• Lead continuous improvement across processes, systems and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and quality standards
• Navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a highly dynamic, non-linear environment
• Contribute to broader business strategy as part of the senior leadership team
 
Skills and Experience
• Extensive experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Leadership experience managing teams in a regulated environment
• Strong commercial acumen with exposure to budgets, growth targets or P&L
• Experience partnering across medical, regulatory, and commercial functions
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive change
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution
• Experience within unlicensed medicines, access programs, or similar highly regarded
• Understanding of TGA frameworks and access pathways advantageous
