The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of specialised IVF laboratory equipment, including time-lapse incubation systems and associated technologies.
You will play a critical role in ensuring high system uptime across a growing installed base, delivering both preventative maintenance and responsive service support. The position requires a high level of autonomy, technical problem-solving, and the ability to manage a large geographic territory.
This is a field-based role ideally located in or near Melbourne, with extensive travel across ANZ.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment including cameras, incubators, and mechanical components
  • Basic IT and networking knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage service schedules, travel, and documentation
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively
Exposure to medical devices or laboratory equipment will be highly regarded
