About the opportunity
In this role you will manage the demand and supply planning processes and work collaboratively with commercial teams and internal stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate forecasts, optimal inventory and conduct detailed analysis. You will work to ensure the supply of goods in maintained, build strong relationships with key manufacturers and have a key input in the monthly S&OP meetings.
This is a hybrid role offering flexibility.
Duties
• Manage the demand planning and forecasting processes
• Maintain and update demand history creating historical records that can be used to produce statistical data
• Take part in the monthly S&OP meetings
• Monitor demand vs forecast and sales quantities
• Support supply planning functions managing changes to forecast
• Vendor management
• Identify and report on slow moving stock and work with the commercial teams on action plans
• Work to improve processes and procedures and work on projects
Skills and Experience
• Tertiary qualification in a Supply Chain or Operations related discipline
• Previous experience in Supply & Demand planning role
• Experience in Healthcare or FMCG Industries preferred
• Experience on SAP and advanced excel skills
• Exposure to S&OP process
• Experience working with commercial teams and leading Supply & Demand forecasting
• Experience working on product development projects
• Customer focus and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Supply Chain & cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
