As an Investigator, you will be instrumental in conducting and overseeing clinical trials, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of trials, contributing to groundbreaking medical research.
Duties
In this role, you will take the lead on clinical studies, ensuring the highest standards of medical care and research integrity. Specifically, you will:
- Conduct medical research in line with government regulations, national guidelines, ICH-GCP, and company SOPs
- Lead studies from start to finish, providing dedicated medical oversight for every participant enrolled in the trial - or provide hands-on support as a Sub-Investigator.
- Take ownership of the overall study — from ethics compliance and participant safety to the schedule of events, adverse event management, and data quality
- Carry out study activities and procedures as required by the protocol
- Review and interpret laboratory results, using your clinical judgement to identify and act on significant findings
- Follow up with and evaluate study participants throughout their journey on the study
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Current, unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- Previous experience in clinical research as an investigator or sub-investigator
- Exceptional organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- A flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic trial environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and sound clinical judgement
