About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator who is looking for a change in environment or want to further their career. This is a great opportunity to work with reputable non-profit organisation.
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide educational leadership and guidance at a unit and organisational level to enable the development of knowledge and skills in all nursing staff.
Duties
- Ensure that all RN's, ENs and PCAs have the correct knowledge to carry out their role
- Ensure that care is delivered in accordance with the policy and objectives of the facility
- Assist management with Performance Management process
- Review resident and staff incidents to identify trends and actively be involved in the development of risk management strategies to address issues.
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation of teaching and learning.
- Strong knowledge of ACFI and Accreditation standards
- Demonstrated ability in strategic development for education
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to quality systems in Aged Care desirable
