About the opportunity

This position is available as soon as possible and they are looking for a strong clinically focused Registered Nurse with experience in Aged Care Management. You will report to the Facility Manager and be responsible for the day to day clinical management of the site. This is an opportunity to become part of one of Aged Care leading providers in Australia and they are very supportive and provide internal training for career development. This role is perfect for a passionate Aged Care manager looking for a role to keep them challenged.

Duties

• Provide leadership & mentorship to staff members
• Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
• Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
• Support of ACFI process
• Actively promote a culture of excellence

Skills and Experience

• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, Health management or a related subject
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Minimum of three years (recent) experience within a similar position
• At least five years' post grad experience working as a Registered Nurse
• Sound clinical skills and ACFI & Accreditation experience and knowledge
• Proven experience with evaluating clinical documentation and work practices so compliance is achieved
• Good leadership skills and positive, can do attitude!
