The Clinic
Privately owned practice and across multiple locations in Sydney NSW, the owners are committed to providing quality medical and allied health services. With flexible work arrangements, it allows doctors flexibility to further continue their academic, research, hospital and family commitments. Aside from face to face consults, the clinic also offers telehealth services.
The Vacancy
The cardiologist will provide general cardiology consults within the specialist centre and be supported by a team of sonographers, cardiologist and other physicians. Scope of the work includes:
- Reviewing patient medical history
- Perform comprehensive examination of patient
- Ordering of diagnostic testing
- Review results of diagnostic testing
- Follow up on patients
- Prescribe medications
- Work with other health care professionals, to support patient needs
- Perform risk assessments
- Perform diagnostic testing and review preliminary reports
- Supervise stress echo-cardiograms performed on patients
- Update patient records
- Discuss treatment plans with patients
Requirements
- Specialist AHPRA registration - (Cardiology )
- No restrictions to bill on Medicare
- Doctor who is empathetic
