Our client is an integrated pharmaceutical company with presence across the world. This company is a CMO and CDMO business who offer pharmaceutical companies' products across a diverse range of therapeutic areas.

About the opportunity

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the product portfolio, and customer groups in Australia. You will work collaboratively with the ANZ team, as well as the manufacturing and R&D teams in India. You will be based in either in Sydney or Melbourne and be the liaison between manufacturing and the customers in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Reporting into the AUS General Manager, you will present the company's services and capabilities
• Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, key buying groups and pharmacy chains
• Identify and drive new business opportunities with customers, whilst maintaining existing relationships with current customers
• Develop and execute strategies to improve the distribution of the products in the retail pharmacy channel
• Influence key decision makers to improve distribution

Skills and Experience

• Proven track record within OTC +/or Generic Pharmaceuticals
• Sales experience - comfortable seeking out new business opportunities, whilst maintaining current customer accounts
• Experience working with manufacturing and supply - understand the entire process
• Be a true team player, able to roll up your sleeves, be agile and self-motivated
