The Role:

Reporting to the Market Access department head, you will lead and support market access activities across a diverse portfolio encompassing both in-market and pipeline assets. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop and execute reimbursement strategies, manage pricing initiatives and contribute to broader commercial decision-making across the business.

Note: This role is a fixed term contract position.


This opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of therapeutic areas and strategic projects, making it ideally suited to an experienced market access professional who enjoys working across both strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market access strategies for pipeline and established products across Australia and New Zealand
  • Lead reimbursement submissions, pricing initiatives, post-market reviews and access optimisation activities
  • Partner closely with Medical, Commercial, Government Affairs, Finance and Legal stakeholders
  • Manage external consultants and specialist vendors where required
  • Conduct market access assessments and reimbursement feasibility analyses for pipeline opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of evolving healthcare policy, reimbursement frameworks and competitor activity
  • Represent Market Access within cross-functional project teams and business planning activities
  • Contribute to pricing governance and broader strategic market access initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Significant ANZ pharmaceutical market access experience
  • Demonstrated success leading or contributing to PBAC submissions and reimbursement strategies
  • Strong understanding of Australian pharmaceutical policy, pricing and reimbursement pathways
  • Experience working across both strategic and operational market access activities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Highly developed analytical, communication and project management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in health economics, pharmacy, science, public health or related disciplines preferred
