The Standard pathway applies to IMGs who have a primary qualification in medicine and surgery awarded by a training institution recognised by both the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the World Directory of Medical Schools, but who are not eligible for the Specialist or Competent Authority pathways.
The Competent Authority pathway is for IMGs whose primary medical degree was awarded by an MBA-approved competent authority. The current approved competent authorities are in the UK, Canada, the USA, New Zealand and Ireland.
In this session, you will have the opportunity to ask your questions about the Standard and Competent Authority pathways and the steps.
