About the opportunity The Dental Equipment Sales Specialist will focus on driving capital sales and new business across an allocated North Island territory. You’ll identify opportunities, confidently demonstrate equipment, prepare quotations and close sales while working closely with the broader commercial team. Responsibilities Analyse the territory and identify growth opportunities across the dental equipment portfolio. Achieve sales targets and consistency meet relevant KPI’s whilst managing long, complex sales cycles. Maintain accurate customer, brand, pipeline and sales records, providing forecasts and market insights to management. Monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations on market opportunities and appropriate commercial actions. Collaborate with the wider sales team and assist with product / equipment training. Skills and Experience Previous sales experience in the dental industry is strongly preferred. An understanding of capital equipment sales cycles is also preferred. Strong commercial capability with the confidence to demonstrate products, present solutions and close sales. Professional communication skills with a customer-focused and ethical approach to selling. IT savvy to meet the technical demands of the role. Ability to travel across with North Island as required.
